Description

March is the Women's History Month and a perfect time to observe prominent women who influenced the African asset management and private equity landscape. In recognition of Women's History Month, Africa Global Funds speaks with a few of the most influential female professionals about the biggest issues facing women in financial services and their personal experiences (pp. 11-13).

We also ask experts how to navigate current challenges and access investors’ capital for hospitality investments in Africa. Read on pp. 16-17.

In addition, we caught up with José Solange Francis and Morlai Kargbo of  Hamilcar Capital, to talk about special situations and the firm’s objectives on p.14.

In this issue, we also hear from FNB on why it is important to diversify asset classes to keep up with inflation. Find more on p.22.

On the fundraising front, Flat6Labs, MENA’s  seed investor, has launched a new $95m Seed Fund to nurture the growth and development of early-stage tech startups on the African continent (p.4).
