Renaissance Capital, an emerging and frontier markets investment bank, has appointed Elena Kolchina as Director, Fixed Income Desk Strategist and Credit Analyst, based in London.
Renaissance Capital, an emerging and frontier markets investment bank, has appointed Elena Kolchina as Director, Fixed Income Desk Strategist and Credit Analyst, based in London.
Kolchina will cover Russia and the CIS, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
With more than 15 years of fixed income experience, she will be focusing on providing regular trading ideas and helping to grow the firm’s client business.
Kolchina will report to Igor Kotlyarchuk, Head of Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities and Marina Ryabokon, Head of International Sales.
Kolchina re-joins Renaissance Capital from Signet Capital Management, a fixed income asset management company, where she was a portfolio manager of the Signet Verno Russia Debt Fund, and was actively involved in building other high-income bond products, asset raising and liaising with clients.
Prior to that she was with Renaissance Asset Managers, an asset management business within Renaissance Group before 2012.
In that time, she was Head of Fixed Income and the Lead Fund Manager of the Renaissance Russia Debt Fund (from its inception in March 2006 until mid-June 2013).
Prior to that, she worked as Head of Russian Fixed Income Research at ING Bank Moscow from 1995 until 2004.
