International Islamic Banking Summit Africa (IIBSA 2017)
IIBSA 2017 is an innovative landmark gathering which regularly convenes global industry leaders to boost the potential of Islamic finance to deliver several key value propositions to Africa; most notably in the areas of enabling infrastructure finance through Sukuk, boosting international trade & investment flows, and deepening financial inclusion. Accordingly, the Summit will focus on “Unlocking the Economic & Strategic Potential of Islamic Finance in Africa - Sukuk & Infrastructure Finance - Trade & Investment - Financial Inclusion & Innovation”.
Building on the success of our previous summits, the International Islamic Banking Summit Africa (IIBSA 2017), to be held at the Djibouti Palace Kempinski on the 8th & 9th of November, will be officially inaugurated by a Special Presidential Address from H.E. Ismail Omar Guelleh, President of the Republic of Djibouti and Head of Government.
IIBSA 2017 is convened under the Patronage of H.E. Ismail Omar Guelleh, President of the Republic of Djibouti and Head of Government, with the official support of the Central Bank of Djibouti and also features a Keynote Speech from H.E. Ahmed Osman, the Governor of the Central Bank of Djibouti. With world-class speakers and more than 250 international delegates, who bring their own knowledge of Islamic ﬁnance from key markets across the world, the International Islamic Banking Summit Africa will convene the conversation to tackle the most pressing questions for the progress of Islamic ﬁnance in Africa.
